say no to Plagiarism

Posted on Updated on

Hi guys,

what was on your mind when you first started blogging, why did you start a blog? Most of us have reasons, a genuine ones. some of us blog to share our work with world, some, for mere pleasure of sharing their ideas, some use it to expand their business etc. etc. Like in my case, I want to enjoy, entertain and share outfits and style ideas, my food and of course some music playlist or entertaining post which are in between or may be something personal. I wanted to write so I started a new blog dilettante scribbler, we all come here with a reason and what we do here is original.

Refrain from posting anything that is not yours without giving credit. Recently, I saw my blog being hosted on some other platform, I got a bit upset about it but then after enquiring a little by contacting a person who had similar experience and also by checking some forums, I came to know it is harmless. But what if you do find a copy of your page or blog somewhere. your work being shared somewhere without your consent. what if your work has been stolen? That feeling is bad and that thing is pretty upsetting. They say if it is on internet you cannot stop it from being copied. yes, right but we can file complaints if we find such thing. Internet is vast so how can we know if our stuff has been copied and being shared on internet? There is one website called copyscape.

About Copyscape- website introduction says Copyscape is a free plagiarism checker. The software lets you detect duplicate content and check if your articles are original.

Internet is beautiful, we should blog, we should write, share, motivate and get inspired but shouldn’t copy.

Be original, write what you feel, share “you” not others. Stop Plagiarism. why blog?if you are sharing what you are not but something you have stolen from someone else.

Copyscape is free and cool. It does a search for your content within minutes over the internet, also notifies you and offers you a free banner to add to your content and stop it from being copied. I gave it a try, If you want you can check it here .

Thank you

Loads of love,

Arohii

You know you are good when someone is copying your stuff. On a side note, it’s great that you have done your homework on how to prevent plagiarism. You’ll encounter it more and more with time.
