crispy spicy banana fries


These banana fries might not look that yum,but trust me they are!Banana chips are quite common in South India.I made these fries today ,serves good as a tea time snack.And especially when you don′t like potato chips or potatoes.
Banana chips/fries are rich in Fiber,Potassium and ofcourse Iron! yes everything that Banana contains naturally and this is why it is one of the healthy snacks you can make during tea time.
How to make crispy spicy Banana Fries-


  1. Green chilli
  2. Mustard seeds
  3. Pepper powder
  4. Cumin powder
  5. oil(coconut/olive/soybean oil)
  6. Turmeric powder
  7. Salt
  8. Green Banana(unripe Banana)

Lets Make it 🙂 –

  • Wash Green Banana
  • Cut Green Banana into thin slices.In a pan heat oil, put mustard seeds and wait till they pop up.
    Now fry the cut slices , Add turmeric powder,salt to taste,pinch of cumin powder,pepper powder,chop chilli and sprinkle on the fried Green Banana slices, You can garnish it with coriander leaves.
